The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
